Position: Contract Attorney
Galveston law firm needs a Contract Attorney for a two (2) – three (3) month assignment. Most work can be completed remotely within the state of Texas. Position will require an initial meeting in Galveston and also a follow-up trial appearance. Must have experience in Maritime / Admiralty Law (Vessel Libels). Ship was seized two months ago due to non-payment. Attorney will be responsible for tying up loose ends and completing all paperwork. Ship must be liquidated and/or sold. Pay rate is $30-45 per hour DOE.
